Content Creator Miyaeva’s Engagement to Holden

Miyaeva and Holden, a Washington-based couple known for their heartwarming content and captivating love story, recently shared the enchanting details of their relationship, their journey into parenthood, and Holden’s meticulously planned, surprise proposal.

Miyaeva, a popular lifestyle creator, and Holden’s story began in high school. Though they knew each other, their paths diverged after graduation. Miyaeva spent five years away, and Holden lived in Arizona for a few years before fate intervened. They both eventually returned to their hometown, where their shared friend group provided opportunities for reconnection.

“We always kind of had the same friend group from high school,” Holden explained, “but when I was there, he was never there. When he was there, I was never there. And there was many opportunities where we could have ran into each other, but we didn’t.” However, “when the time was right,” they finally reconnected, and as Miyaeva puts it, “it was just history from there.” Their reunion felt like destiny, proving that some connections are simply “supposed to happen.”

Their relationship progressed quickly, taking an unexpected turn just two months into dating when Miyaeva discovered she was pregnant. “It was kind of like a crazy situation,” Miyaeva recalled, noting she hadn’t even posted Holden on her social media yet. Despite the surprise, Holden’s immediate support was unwavering. “He was like, we’re going to be great parents. Like it’s going to be okay. Like always there for me from the very beginning.”

The arrival of their son, Stetson Dane, solidified their bond. Miyaeva described a profound, new kind of love. “Once he was put on my chest, I was like, so this is what everyone’s talking about? Like it’s just a completely new feeling that you like never ever experienced before.”

Becoming parents brought significant shifts, especially in their social lives. With many of their friends still without children, weekend plans changed from late nights out to earlier dinners. However, having their parents living within ten minutes has been a huge blessing, allowing Stetson to spend ample time with his grandparents. This strong family support has been crucial as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood at their own pace.

Holden’s proposal to Miyaeva was a masterclass in thoughtful planning and surprise. Knowing Miyaeva’s work as a lifestyle creator, he secretly collaborated with her manager, Carly, and her long-time photographer. The first step was subtly involving Miyaeva in the ring selection process. Holden arranged a visit to Brilliant Earth under the guise of trying on rings for size and style. Unbeknownst to Miyaeva, the brand was already on board as a partner, ensuring she’d get the ring of her dreams while also providing content opportunities for her platform.

The actual proposal involved an elaborate ruse. Holden and the photographer orchestrated a “fake family photo shoot” at a scenic dock location. The photographer told Miyaeva she wanted to test out a new location and needed models, and Miyaeva, delighted to be her “model,” suspected nothing. The day of the proposal, a specific pin-drop led Miyaeva to an unusual parking spot, requiring her to walk a quarter-mile through a park to reach the dock.

As Miyaeva approached, she noticed white roses and candles beautifully set up. Her photographer’s mother-in-law was waiting to take Stetson, a clear sign that something significant was unfolding. “My heart sinks to my feet. I started getting super shaking. I felt like I was gonna pass out,” Miyaeva recounted. To further prove her surprise, she highlighted her choice of attire: “I wore a black dress and I would have never, ever, ever wore black to my proposal ever.”

The chosen spot, unbeknownst to them, was a local fishing area, but luckily, it was cleared for their special moment. As Holden got down on one knee, a crowd of about 30 people, who had gathered nearby, erupted in cheers and applause. Shortly after, both of their families arrived to celebrate and take photos, completing the magical moment. Holden even cleverly threw Miyaeva off by telling her not to make plans for the following weekend, making her think the proposal would happen then, when in fact, he had planned it for the current weekend.

Miyaeva and Holden are currently enjoying their engagement, choosing not to rush into wedding planning. However, Miyaeva has already secured their dream wedding venue in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for January 2027. This destination wedding allows ample time for guests to save and plan. “I’ve always wanted a beach wedding,” Miyaeva shared, envisioning a celebration filled with “bright, happy colors” and a strict “no black” dress code for guests.
