I love it when couples break tradition and set their own rules for their wedding! And that's exactly what Krista + Doug did at their sunny Ruby wedding this past August. Doug had a grooms-maid on his side of the alter, they offered coozies and a taco bar, and even had a very unique first look together! This modern couple kept it real all day with lots of emotion and tears throughout the happy festivities. The cupcakes and sparkler exit topped off the affair as the couple ventured off into forever togetherness. See highlights of their fun day below!

From the photographer, Erin Turner: From Texas to Tennessee, Krista and Doug's family and friends made way to Nashville for their wedding at The Ruby. A beautiful ceremony, yummy tacos, a fun dance party and lots of love!
Before the ceremony, Krista and Doug decided not to see each other, but to still share a moment together. We blindfolded Doug with a Texas handkerchief and Krista walked out to him – I can only imagine the nerves going through Doug, not being able to see Krista, but to hold her and talk to her. I love this idea! If you're not into a first look, this is a great way to still share a moment together without seeing the bride before the ceremony.
