Klaire + Tyler’s Natural Ethereal Wedding by Killian Rose | Nashville

Falling in love at a coffee shop sounds like the beginning of a romantic comedy, but for Klaire + Tyler, it was their entire love story! During Tyler’s time as a barista at The Well, he and Klaire met by happenstance and the rest was history. Not more than 1 year later, the couple tied the knot at Hachland Hill accompanied by photographer Killian Rose to document the sweet, organic day. Details of greenery, peach and neutrals adorned the fall setting and guests were not left without a sweet treat at the adorable donut bar during their reception! Take a look at Killian’s photos below and hear more straight from the bride, Klaire on their wedding day!

Klaire + Tyler

Hachland Hills

October 2016

Our story from the bride, Klaire: Tyler and I met at the non profit coffee shop he worked at called The Well. I had just quit my job and was about to start graduate school, but I had about a week of free time before classes started. I ended up going into the coffee shop every morning to read and drink my vanilla latte and steal a couple of quick conversations with the cute barista. On a random Friday night, a party I was going to got cancelled last minute so i ended back up at The Well to finish my book. Tyler also ended up at The Well that night because of cancelled plans. He sat down with me and asked me if I wanted to go get dinner with him, right then and there. So we got up, drove to dinner, and had our first date. Ever since then, we’ve pretty much been inseparable. We got married a year later in October 2016.

Bride Klaire on the venue: Hachland Hill stuck out to us because it was unlike a lot of venues in Nashville. Our engagement was only about 6 months, and we quickly found out that couples book their venues what seems like years ahead of time, so a lot of the places we liked were already taken, including Hachland Hill. However, 3 months before the wedding, Hachland Hill had a cancellation so we booked it right then. It is tucked away in Joelton, TN and it was like stepping into Narnia. It was so natural, ethereal, and completely peaceful. The staff and coordinators there were so friendly, professional and made everything as easy as could be. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Bride Klaire on the flowers: Mary Love Richardson of Rosemary & Finch did our floral arrangements and that was a no brainer for me. I had followed her on Instagram for years and it was apparent just from her photos that she was so talented. On top of that, she is the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She was such a joy to work with and really understood the vision for our flowers and greenery. She brought everything to life.

Bride Klaire on the dress: I custom made my dress from Olia Zavozina in Nashville. Olia is an incredibly talented designer and she met with me to help create my perfect dress. The whole staff there is amazing and really accommodating.

Bride Klaire on the dessert: We served specialty croissant donuts from Utterly Nashville for desert. The flavor of these donuts ranged from Early Grey Vanilla Sugar to Madagascar Vanilla- YUM! They were a hit with our guests and a fun alternative cake.

Thank you so much for sharing Klaire + Tyler’s wedding with us, Killian! You can check out more of Killian Rose’s photography work here and also be sure to follow along with the latest on Instagram! Her feed is beautiful!
