From the bride, Brittany: I (Brittany, the bride) have dreamed of having my wedding at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, Tennessee. This was going to be a challenge because Dan and I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. To make a long story short, Dan was the man of Brittany's dreams because he took me to Mint Springs Farm to propose and just when I thought things couldn't get any better — he handed me a card saying that he had booked the venue for 7.7.17.

Fast forward 11 months, we had the most perfect wedding at Mint Springs Farm completed with the best team of Nashville vendors. My inspiration for our wedding was to create a romantic and personal experience for us and all of our out of town guests! Honestly, the pictures speak for themselves- many of our guests echoed my feelings of Mint Springs being one of the most beautiful venues they'd ever been to.

Brittany: I think one of the most special moments was dancing our first dances with a slideshow of photos displayed on the dance floor showing our journey in our relationship but also when dancing with our parents, we displayed slideshows of our childhood. My favorite moment was our ceremony; I had the opportunity to create a ceremony that was personal to us and we had a very close friend marry us! Our song choices were pretty nostalgic to our love of 80s music: first dance was to Faithfully by Journey – an ode to our many car rides where we played air guitar and drums to this classic!

My advice for brides would be a couple things:
1. Step back sometime during your wedding and take in all the people you love being in one place to celebrate you!
2. Slip into your reception hall/venue and see the finished product before your guests enter – Dan and I really enjoyed that moment alone seeing all the hard work come together.
3. Make it personal – try to tie in as many meaningful touches as you can -make it yours!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful wedding with us, Brittany! You can check out more of her photographer, Zach & Sarah's work here on their website and also be sure to follow them on Insta
