It’s easy to just pick vendors and go with everything thinking the day will be all sunshine and rainbows, but I’ve outlined some crucial things to think about before you walk down the aisle. It’s always a good idea to have a Plan B at your wedding. When planning your wedding, most brides have a vision in their head of the absolute perfect day when the sun is shining and happiness abounds. And yes, every bride should be the happiest on her wedding day, but just know, 9 times out of 10, something will not work out as planned. As for me, yes, my day was the best ever. However, a huge branch got stuck to my dress as I was walking down the aisle, my florist forgot to bring some of my flowers, and the DJ announced the song I was supposed to dance to with my brother when he was nowhere to be found. Not to mention, we ran through our sparkler tunnel only to stand on the side of the road waiting 15 minutes for our getaway car (very anticlimactic!). But you know what? That’s not what I remember about my wedding day. What do I remember the most? My dad’s heartfelt speech and my friends getting crazy on the dance floor. And most of all, we felt so loved with all of the friends and family who were there to celebrate us! However, it’s always a good idea to have a Plan B for your wedding and most of all – have a great attitude about it. Just roll with the day knowing that things are likely to not go as planned.
