From a new studio to new beauty services, Katie-Laine is thinking ahead and giving brides like you exactly what you need! Keep reading to find out all the new news!

Katie-Laine: Yes!  I’m thrilled to now share a space as part of Nashville Event Collective in East Nashville.  It’s right by Ugly Mugs and Five Daughters and it just really feels like the perfect spot!  It’s a gorgeous spot with perfect lighting to meet with clients, do trial runs and hold classes!  I love being part of such a talented and passionate group.

Katie-Laine: I am really excited that I’ve expanded my service menu to service larger parties, multiple events, and provide on-site nails!  Every time I’ve had a bride opt to include nails, it is the most relaxing, fun environment for everyone to get ready.  It really works perfectly with hair and makeup, and is a great way for everyone to feel polished and pampered before the wedding.  I am also now offering on-site touch up service for my wedding parties!  With this service, I stay with my brides and provide any touch-ups they need, as well as helping with any adjustments that need to be made during photos.

Katie-Laine: This is one of the things I get asked about all the time!  Teaching makeup at the Paul Mitchell School helped me discover that I love teaching!  I have been teaching some private lessons and classes lately but haven’t had the right spot to host classes and workshops… until now!  I am planning a couple of masterclasses before the end of the year, specifically a “Make over your makeup bag” and a “DIY special event makeup” class.  In 2018, I plan to expand the offerings to include “Transitioning to Non-toxic beauty” and several other classes.  (Editor’s note: in fact, there’s one coming up on December 2nd at 2:30 – stay tuned for more details!) Katie-Laine: For weddings, the “beauty” team is one of the first vendors you interact with.  In a lot of ways, we set the tone for the day.  It is so important to me to only work with top-knotch artists that consistently deliver gorgeous hair, makeup, and nails plus are super reliable, professional, and warm.  Over the last 15 years, I have cultivated relationships with other artists in the industry that do gorgeous work and bring great energy to the environment where they work.  I enjoy my time with my brides so much and it’s so important to me that they enjoy their time with me and my team.  Last month, I received a text message from a bride 3 days after her wedding.  It said, “Hey Katie-Laine!  What’s the best place to leave you and your team an AMAZING review?”  Later that week I got an email from her photographer complimenting my team, our work, and how friendly we all were.  This is the experience I try to bring to each of my clients.  Read what other clients have to say here:  www.katielainethornton.com/testimonials
