Nashville Bachelorette Weekend: Photo Shoot Fun

Your bachelorette party is one of the BEST times to hang out and celebrate with your besties. And while there are so many options of things to do, bride-to-be Danielle decided on a destination “Nash Bash” and got creative. With fun props, denim attire, and the different parts of the city being the perfect backdrop, this bride and bridal party had a fun photo shoot to remember their whole Nashville experience. See all the amazing photos captured by Mandy Liz Photography and learn more about Danielle’s inspiration and wedding details in the interview below!

What was your design inspiration?

Danielle: While planning our “Nash Bash” celebrations, we wanted to do something unique and different to remember our time in Nashville. We hadn’t seen many people do a photoshoot before and thought it would be a fun opportunity to get dolled up and capture some memories. We went with a theme of white + denim for our attire to keep it unique but also cohesive. By adding some fun props like confetti and “Got Your Bach” gold foil balloons, we were able to get some creative shots that we’ll cherish forever, all while having a blast at the same time!

How did you meet your fiancé?

Danielle: I met my fiance when I was 12 years old when my cousin introduced us at church! We dated for about 3 years before Aris popped the question and we are thrilled to begin our forever on June 8, 2019!

What is your proposal story?

Danielle: The day began as most average Tuesdays do: I woke up, played my current favorite songs, ate my morning breakfast, checked the mail, and waited for my best friends, Amelia and Haley, to arrive with lunch. An average day, am I right? This Tuesday was a little different, however, because the three of us had big plans to take graduation photos together at the beautiful Sarah P. Duke Gardens (I think you can probably guess where this is going…). We all got ready together at my apartment, adorned ourselves with white, and made our way to what would be the most eventful two hours of my life.

Flash forward to Duke Gardens: Considering Aris had called me that morning with background noise that implied he was clearly at work, I was oblivious as to what my dear friends, family, and then-boyfriend had planned. Amelia, Haley and I laughed and posed as we took photos together: some in pairs, some of the three of us, and some individuals. Adelyn played music as she snapped away at her camera, distracting me from the underlying plans for the afternoon…

We made our way to a wooden gazebo, surrounded by vibrant green foliage, where Adelyn planned to take some individual photos of me while Amelia and Haley were “off to the ladies room.” My excitement increased as one of my favorite songs, “You Make It Easy” by Jason Aldean, came blasting through the speaker (a playlist Aris picked out for the special occasion). Cue Aris. To my surprise, Aris came out of the woodworks behind me (quite literally)…As I turned to face Aris,  joy overwhelmed me as all of the pieces came together to create the most beautiful memory. Now, if you’re wondering what he said, that’s a little something you’ll have to ask him…

May 8th, 2018 will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We are so incredibly grateful for all of our friends and family that made an average Tuesday so special…each and every one of you mean so much to us and have inspired us in so many ways. Thank you for being there for the best day of our lives to date.

Please describe any DIY, handmade or personal details.

Danielle: When we did our engagement shoot, we tried to make it personal to us as a couple. Aris is a firefighter in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, so we took photos with his antique firetruck for half of the shoot. I wrote a blog post, including some of our photos HERE!

What were your favorite parts of the day?

Danielle: For our bachelorette party photo shoot with Mandy Liz Photography, we had the BEST morning! We walked around and took fun photos with balloons, confetti, and murals & even stopped for donuts and coffee along the way (does it get any better than that?) We laughed a LOT and had the best time! All of my girls really enjoyed the whole experience and haven’t stopped talking about it! As a North Carolina native, we were so excited that we found someone as amazing as Mandy since we aren’t local to the Nashville area.
