After a brief conversation with Stephanie, she casually mentioned pet-friendly weddings at their venue Headlines at Hotel Indigo. I had to stop and ask more questions – what a very cool and unique way to showcase this beautiful Nashville wedding venue! Pets are a huge part of many couples’ lives and incorporating them into your wedding can make your day even more special. And there’s great news for Nashville pet lovers – cats and dogs are allowed not only in Hotel Indigo, but they’re also allowed in their wedding venue Headlines! Need more details? It’s great to hear that Hotel Indigo is pet-friendly! Is this something new you’re implementing?
Hotel Indigo: Hotel Indigo’s brand standard is to be pet-friendly which we enthusiastically promote. Only recently did we also implement this practice to extend to the Headlines Event Venue, the 3,500 sq. ft. special event space with hardwood flooring and ample natural lighting.
What kinds of pets can you bring to Hotel Indigo?
Hotel Indigo: Domestic dogs and cats are allowed in Hotel Indigo.
Is there a weight limit on pets? What are the stipulations?
Hotel Indigo: Yes, pets have can be 80 lbs. maximum. Customers can call and check on approval for larger dogs.
Are pets allowed anywhere in the hotel? Rooms and public areas?
Hotel Indigo: Pets are allowed in the sleeping room and in most public areas such as the front desk and lobby. Here you can find a picture perfect dog house with water and treats set out as well as Hotel Indigo leashes if you forgot one at home. However, pets are not allowed in the restaurant unless it is a service animal.
What are some creative ways brides can incorporate their pet into their Hotel Indigo wedding?
Hotel Indigo: The Headlines Gallery and the mezzanine level of Headlines, is gorgeous and intimate for small ceremonies of 80 or less guests. We encourage couples who want their pet(s) to be a part of their big day to include them either as part of the wedding party or in pictures around the historic former bank building. We love seeing pets with coordinated outfits or collars to match the wedding theme – especially as part of the getting ready pictures with the bridal party. Wonderful local businesses around Nashville provide dog cupcakes and cakes. So pets can even be included during the cake cutting and have their own cake, too!
Is there anything else we should know about pets at Hotel Indigo?
Hotel Indigo: Our lovely front desk agents usually keep dog treats on hand for our furry guests, so don’t forget to ask for some.
