Gratidude Ranch: A Mini Farm Venue Perfect for a Rustic Tennessee Wedding

Nashville Bride Guide

September 29, 2016

Located in Leiper's Fork about 20 minutes south of Downtown Franklin lies a rustic and eclectic farm venue: Gratidude Ranch. Each piece of decor in the barn comes together to create an overall aesthetic unlike any other here in the Nashville area! The rustic wedding venue, Gratidude Ranch, is owned by deMarco DeCiccio (yes, we almost have the same last name!). He's created Gratidude Ranch as such a unique space not only for weddings, but birthdays and even carnivals for a foster program called S.A.F.E. Here's more about the venue straight from deMarco...

Tell us about your company.

deMarco: Gratidude Ranch is a rustic, six acre mini-farm located south of Nashville in beautiful, historic Leiper's Fork, TN. It specializes in small country weddings and private parties for up to 100 people and can accommodate up to 12 overnight guests spread amongst four sleeping quarters. The gated property includes a pavillion, a party barn, a garden with a private patio, a magic meadow, lush landscaping, a babbling creek nearby and a plaza. A riding arena is also available for pony rides for special events. This is a magical place where dreams really do come true.

How long have you been in business?

deMarco: 2 years

How did you get started in weddings?

deMarco: We bought the property 2 and a half years ago and saw the potential for bringing people together for special occasions since the place is so unique. The farm is located in such a pretty part of Williamson County; green rolling hills, beautiful sunsets over the mountain ridge, peace and quiet, wildlife, etc, that we decided to start spreading the word that we were available for private celebrations. We started with overnight rentals in the Cottage and the Guest House, and then started doing small birthday parties for children, and then added in the Farm-to-Table dinners. We've also been able to host quarterly mini-carnival type events open to the community and free to foster families in our support of a local non-profit called S.A.F.E.

What's the philosophy behind your company?

deMarco: We were blessed with this place and we want to share it with others. Whatever happens here; whether its a country birthday bash that we sponsor for a foster child every month or a rustic wedding or even Easter Egg hunt, we want everyone to have a special memory of their time here at Gratidude Ranch.

What are your strengths compared to others in your category?

deMarco: We are small and family owned so I would say that we offer a more personable experience. There seems to be quite a few more beautiful, high-end venues around town. Since we can only accommodate up to 100 people, we are happy to offer a smaller venue that is rustic and charming at a lower cost to our clients than some of the other venues. We are a GLBT-friendly venue. We are located in the green rolling hills of Williamson County between Leiper's Fork and Fairview. We can also have on-site catering and overnight accommodations for up to 12 guests.

What attracts brides to your business?

deMarco: Our low pricing. Our flexibility. The on-site accommodations. That their business supports us in giving back to the community through which supports area foster youth and families. That we are genuinely GLBT-friendly and welcoming.

Describe the bride who is most attracted to your company.

deMarco: A bride or groom that desires a small, intimate, rustic country wedding at an affordable price in this beautiful secluded and scenic part of Franklin. A member of the GLBT community who is looking for the freedom to be themselves through the planning stages of this very important day in their life.

I'm all about a venue that includes accomodations on site! Making your day into a wedding weekend with your best friends and family while creating a memorable intimate wedding is very on trend lately! Thank you for sharing all of the details about Gratidude Ranch, deMarco!
