Styled shoots not only showcase each wedding professional’s work, but also give Nashville wedding vendors the opportunity to experiment with new styles and current trends. The cool thing about this shoot is that Mandy Liz Photography and Evergreen Events incorporated so many new trends into this Flora & Fauna shoot without it feeling gimmicky. In fact, it’s quite the opposite! The subdued yet bohemian style makes way for the photos to look as though they came straight out of an oil painting in a museum. From the photographer, Mandy Liz: Fruit and Flora is a bohemian inspired styled shoot where we focused on pops of colors and natural elements. Our bride wore a stunning yet simple gown, and she accessorized with gold cuffs, bracelets, and stackable rings. She held an oversized spring-style bouquet to complement her simple gown.
From the photographer, Mandy Liz: The ceremony venue, The Ruby, is a historic church in Nashville that was restored as a wedding venue. The white walls and exposed wood floors matched our theme perfectly. We used wooden doors from Southern Celebrations Co and hung greenery on them, and we used wooden fold up chairs for the seating arrangements. Our vintage rugs from Vintage Sparkle added color to our ceremony venue, and we felt they were a perfect fit for a boho bride to walk down the aisle.
From the photographer, Mandy Liz: Our reception table was lined with blue velvet and fresh fruits. Our mismatched china from The Wedding Plate added elegant touches of soft pink, and created a sweet and romantic vibe. We lit candles and let the wax organically melt into place. We had 3 cakes on display on the dessert table, and each one was topped with fresh flowers and fruits.
