Bohemian Spring Wedding Inspiration by Brasspenny Photography

Spring is alive and well! Which is why I’m so excited to share this bright and modern styled shoot with you today from Brasspenny Photography! The minimalistic style (which is one of my favorite wedding looks) created a surreal desert-like experience. The geometric shapes mixed with succulents and geodes would normally call for a neutral muted look, but I am totally loving the pops of rose quartz, blues and purples that make this shoot stand out! The watercolor invitation suite and bohemian wedding dress give the photos a laid-back vibe while keeping a clean look. From the photographer Rachel Tenpenny of Brasspenny Photography: Part of what people don’t tell you about becoming a somewhat successful creative, is that your time to play is cut short. So putting this little styled shoot together was a way to get to play at what I love to do. And since we’re all so busy once wedding season fully kicks in, February was a cloudy but appropriate time to make the shoot happen. We wanted to incorporate rose quartz hue in a subtle manner, and once we started putting the hues we liked together, we realized we kind of had this muted desert vibe. From there the inspiration evolved fairly naturally. It seemed like keeping it somewhat minimalistic would be fitting. Succulents and cactus, raw quartz and geodes, and a breathtaking but *different* gown really set the look into place.

Thank you so much for sharing this shoot with us, Rachel! You can check out more of Brasspenny Photography’s work here on Rachel’s website and please make sure you give her a follow on Instagram here! LOVE this look for spring!
