Oh golden hour – how I love thee… Nashville area photographers Jordan & Alaina captured couple Ashton + Davey’s engagement photos at a beautiful park in West Nashville – Bells Bend Nature Center. From the photographers Jordan & Alaina: We photographed Ashton and Davey’s engagement session back in May, before the temperatures got too unbearably hot, and we were lucky enough to have absolutely perfect weather the day of their session! When planning the session details, Ashton expressed her vision for the photos (countryside, tall grass, golden hour) and after some brainstorming of possible locations, we landed on the perfect spot – Bells Bend Nature Center! This location is sort of a hidden gem just west of downtown Nashville. In the summer, the tall grasses are lush and green, the trees and flowers are in bloom, and the rolling hills create the perfect backdrop, along with the beautiful golden hour glow, in your photos! Ashton and Davey were so adorably natural together throughout the session, you can feel the love they share for each other in the photos! We are so excited for their June 2019 wedding at Ravenswood Mansion… if their engagement session was any sign of how beautiful the wedding day will be, we just can’t wait!
From the bride Ashton: It was love at first sight when Davey and I met back in 2012, while both attending Arizona State University. Five years later, Davey surprised me in my hometown during the holidays, and asked me to marry him with all of my family around. We will be getting married in Brentwood, Tennessee on June 1, 2019. All our guests will be flying in from out of state, so we are hoping to give them a gorgeous outdoor wedding, full of southern charm. This vision is what inspired our engagement session with Jordan and Alaina – bright and fresh, with golden hour vibes!
