A Southern Colonial Styled Shoot by Jenna Henderson | Nashville

The classic grandeur of the colonial times is alive and well in this styled shoot by Jenna Henderson Photography! From the ornate blue vintage china pieces to the black wooden windsor chairs, this shoot is 1700s fab! Each detail arranged by Adriel Nutter Events captures the history of the south. The classic black suit & bowtie worn by the groom all the way to the sweet up do and A-line dress worn by the bride, it's like a scene straight from the pages of an old novel mixed with inspiration from the classic weddings of today. And fun fact, those windsor chairs you see… they're my kitchen chairs! And boy do I ever wish my actual kitchen table looked like this… Jenna made them look 10 times nicer than they do in my kitchen. ๐Ÿ™‚ Check it all out below!

A Colonial Inspired Styled Shoot

From the photographer, Jenna Henderson: It started with the blue patterned china as an inspiration. A colonial-era inspired shoot was built from there, with timeless touches. The grounds at the historic Homestead Manor served as a perfect backdrop to blueberry, silver, and magnolia tones. The colonial details tell a story as if these film images could have been taken in the early days of our nation, yet still feel fresh & modern.
