The Grand Opening of the George Jones Museum, a Wide Open Downtown Event Venue

Thursday, October 8, 2015

The Grand Opening of the George Jones Museum highlighted a new, downtown space for weddings and other events.  Liberty Party Rental partnered with the folks at the George Jones Museum to inspire engaged couples and introduce the city to this great new space for Nashville weddings and events.

Captured by the talented KG Photography, the wedding and event space featured an industrial feel, which was complemented by Liberty Party Rental’s red accents and metal chairs, a great contrast to the rustic background of the George Jones Museum.

The decor for the opening was fantastic, with a pure Nashville theme.  Liberty Party Rental provided most of the items, including the metal chairs with the large 8-ft wood farm tables on high legs with bar stools, and many of the other rentals.

The centrally located venue is right in the heart of downtown Nashville, boasts a rooftop option, view of the gorgeous Cumberland River, and the perfect amount of space for any social or business event.  Multiple options are available to choose from inside the single location, including the George Rooftop Bar and Choices Riverfront Restaurant and Bar.  Of course, the George Jones Museum is there as well.

The square footage gives any person that decides to rent it out a lot of options from which to choose.  It’s definitely designed for any large gathering, so for those wedding couples that love George Jones - this is perfect for you!  If you’re not necessarily a fan, that’s okay because this venue is gorgeous and definitely worth a walk through.

So, if you’re still trolling for a place to have your reception, grab a drink or a bite to eat at any of the places we listed above inside the venue.  Enjoy a good meal, take a walk through the museum, or contact them on their website to book an event.  You can even have lunch on the roof and ponder if the place is right for you.  And don’t forget to add a few of those stunning Liberty Party Rental pieces, like the long farm tables.

I joined nashvillebrideguide.com because I wanted to try my hand at about writing something I knew very little about. My expertise lies in areas like travel, and since I'm not currently close to getting married or involved in marriage-related things, I thought it'd be a new experience. I'm excited to learn about all the creative ways people make their wedding day exceptional.
